At the Lawton Vineyard, we believe prayer is central to life, ministry, and just about everything.

What is prayer?

Prayer is just talking to God. There are no special words you have to say (you don't even have to end with "Amen!"). You simply have to talk to Him. Remember God is always listening, but prayer is actually talking to Him.

Can anyone pray?

Yes! God hears and answers every prayer (but His answer isn't always, "yes"). You don't have to be in a church to pray, and it doesn't have to be before a meal or bedtime, but if you prefer, we offer corporate prayer every Sunday morning at 8:30 am and personal prayer after every service.

How do I get started?
